The Belle Founder Rows the Thames For Charity

July 8th - 12th

We are rowing the Worshipful Company of Founders’ Thames Cutter 120 miles, the length of the Thames from Lechlade to London.

The Belle Founder is a six-oar boat in which we also regularly compete in races and events organised by the Thames Traditional Rowing Association.

We are rowing in aid of the Founders’ Charities which support numerous good causes. The Charities are a major pillar of the work of the Worshipful Company of Founders.

The focus of our fundraising for this row is financially supporting undergraduate students in material sciences and engineering.

Our charities predominantly focus on supporting young people as individuals to achieve their potential.

We are having a bring your own Picnic on Sunday Lunch time at Abingdon Lock, we will be delighted if you can join us. I apologise that we could not find a riverside pub at the right distance from the start and finish.
